More about Bonnie
Bonnie was born in Atlanta, Georgia at Ft. McPherson army base and was raised as an army brat, pretty much throughout the South. Her mom moved back to Nashivlle when Bonnie was in the fifth grade and her family remained here from that point on.
Bonnie is married to Brad and they just celebrated 30 years of marriage with a renewal ceremony at the church. They have three children - Alan Arnold, married to Ellen and resides in San Francisco - Lesli White, married to Dave and resides in Springfield - Braden Binkley - also resides in Springfield. They have two grandchildren - Cailen and Julian, both children of Alan.
They have been members at CCC since about one year after the church was formed. Bonnie has been volunteering on staff as office assistant for about 4 years. She has been very active in the church and served as Sunday School teacher up until just recently. She currently serves on the Women's Ministry Team and has for about 4 years. Bonnie loves to cook and shares that special love to serve the church on the 2nd Wednesday night of each month and whenever else she can. She has worked full time, mostly in the printing industry, up until about 5 years ago. She is not able to work anymore, but God has used this time to help her fulfill a desire to become more and more involved in the church and the ministries that he has laid on her heart. Bonnie says she is very thankful for the opportunities here at CCC and wants to encourage everyone to find their own spiritual gifts and then use them to serve where ever they can.
Her life verse is Phil. 4:13 - "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me". God gave her that verse several years ago when Braden was born prematurely and they wanted to thank the staff at Baptist hosptial. They gave the neonatal nursery staff a thank-you plaque with that inscription, and it has been the same verse that has brought her through every crisis and every celebration since.
