What do you do to Relax?
As a family - the beach or fall camping!
Personally - either take a nice long bubble bath; read a good book, or cuddle with my kids and watch a movie.
What is your favorite thing about Coopertown Community Church?
The wonderful contemporary worship music and friends who care and help me in my walk with Christ
What is the last song/group you listened to in your ipod/cd player?
The newest CD of Colbie Caillat.....mixed with Coldplay and a bit of the soundtrack from the Broadway play "Wicked"
What would you never like to taste again?
Cookies accidentally made with baking soda instead of baking powder
What is your favorite quote?
Oh...so many to choose from....the first one that comes to mind is:
"Your true priorities will be known by your actions, not your words."
What is your favorite movie(s)?
Chick flicks in general: 'While You Were Sleeping' and 'Pride and Prejudice' still rules, with some "Phantom of the Opera" thrown in. Also love John Wayne movies and Lord of the Rings trilogy.
What was your favorite book as a child?
Little House on the Prairie Books (I'm a Kansas girl!)
What makes you laugh?
The laughter of my children and spontaneous moments with my family
Are you a morning or night person?
Night-owl!! But I think that's changing as I get older
Is your desk messy or organized?
Organized (and the one at home is an organized mess)
What is your favorite dessert?
Other than just chocolate in general.....carrot cake with cream cheese frosting, with toasted pecans sprinkled on top, or white chocolate macademia cheesecake with fresh raspberry puree sauce.
More about Becky
Becky grew up enjoying the simple life in Coffeyville, KS. During her Christian college years in California, she lived a year in Amman, Jordan to work with physically handicapped children at the Al Hussein Society, where the love of working with children and making a difference in their lives took root. Upon completion of their BA degrees in Theology and getting married, Becky and Jeff moved to Tennessee. During the past 15 years as a stay-at-home mom, Becky has also served in the local community as a Girl Scout leader for 8 years, PTO officer and substitute teacher in the Coopertown Schools, as well as other volunteer positions. She also currently teaches piano lessons from her home studio. Becky and Jeff live in Coopertown with their 3 children, Kathryn, Andrew and Logan.
Becky’s focus is for the Children’s Ministry Program to provide a safe and loving environment that partners with the parents in teaching children how to live according to God’s word and how to develop a life-long relationship with Jesus Christ.
