The CCC Deaf Ministry Team desires to bring the hope of Christ to ALL people. Our prayer is that “..the favor of the Lord rests upon us; establish the work of our hands." Psalm 90:17

We believe the deaf are a diverse people group with unique ways of serving the Lord. Our goal is for them to join in His service whether that includes teaching children, leading Bible studies, teaching sign language or going on mission trips.

We interpret each Sunday morning during worship service.

In 2 Timothy 2:24 the Scriptures tell us that the servant of the Lord must be able to teach.  This is referring to the responsibilities of an elder (see 2 Timothy 2:2).  Now if the elder is to be able to teach, then it requires a church member to reciprocate the teaching in a specific manner.  The healthy church member should be teachable.  What is the evidence of a teachable spirit?  Thabiti Anyabwile concludes a teachable spirit is evident in a humble heart and a desire to grow in Christ, without which people will grow stiff-necked and incorrigible.

Thabiti Anyabwile wrote in, What Is A Healthy Church Member?,

"Apart from the gospel, the church has nothing to say--that is, nothing to say that cannot be said by some other human agency."

How are you speaking that message to people in your life?  Today, would you reaffirm your belief in the truth of the Word, the promises contained therein, and the power it affords for your life?
